Cancellation policy

By registering for a course organized by the Future Earth Research School, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our cancellation policy.

 

Cancellation by us

Please note that courses will be activated only upon reaching the minimum number of participants established by the school. The school also reserves the right to make changes to the programme or to cancel a course in the event of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.

In case a course is cancelled, participants will be promptly informed using the contact details provided and will be entitled to a refund.

 

Cancellation by you

All cancellations must be made in writing by contacting secretariat@fersschool.it.

Payment of the course fee is always requested in advance in order to confirm registration. In case of withdrawal from the course, if written notice is given at least two weeks before the start of the course, participants are entitled to a full refund. If insufficient notice is given, the course fee will not be refunded.

All courses involve organizational costs, even when participation is free or covered by financial assistance. If your fee is waived or covered by financial assistance but you are unable to attend, please inform us as soon as possible. As a not-for-profit school, we still need to cover organizational costs, so we may charge an administrative fee of €100 if you do not attend or if you give less than 7 days’ notice.
